This bottle and plaque are influenced by the works and life of the master of the macabre Edgar Allan Poe. Including the figure of a Raven on the bottle, a totum of his most well known work. This design is also inspired by the illusive figure of the Poe toaster, who visited Poe's grave on the night of January 19th, (Poe's birthday), from the 1930's to the 1990's. The unknown person would leave three roses on the grave, and a bottle of cognac from which they had taken a single drink to honour Poe.
