This bottle is influenced by real historical medicine.

Known today as Hydrogen cyanide, Prussic acid was first isolated from the pigment Prussian blue in 1752 by French chemist Pierre Macquer, and then again in 1782 by Swedish chemist Carl Wilhelm Scheele.Historically it was linked in many cases of poisoning, identified inaccurately with the smell of almonds, or bitter almonds. It was also linked with suicide, one such case being that of John William Polidori, author of the first modern Vampire fiction; 'The Vampyre', published in 1819. Polidori took his own life on the 24th August 1821, it was claimed by his family through the use of Prussic Acid.
